Located in the picturesque village of Henley-on-Klip, The Bowler is so much MORE than just a club. Incorporating the Henley Bowling Club and The Bowler ~ Café, this community social club also features a Functions, Conferencing, Boardroom and Training facility. It also makes for a congenial venue for 21st’s, anniversaries, birthdays and year end functions.
On Wednesday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s, Lawn Bowls are the order of the day. Gone are the days of bowls being a game just for retired people. An influx of young people taking up lawn bowls has led to a resurgence in its popularity. Lawn bowls teaches strong self-discipline and young players also derive the obvious benefits of improved fitness and increased confidence. We actively encourage young people to engage in this gentle and friendly sport and share all the facilities the Club has to offer.
The country style pub at The Bowler is well known for its relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Virtual host to all the big sporting events, worldwide, you will not find a better vibe than this when watching Rugby, Cricket etc. on the many TV screens, strategically placed around the bar. This revelry is often followed by a friendly game of darts by patrons and club members alike.
Facilities are available to Members and Guests, so come to the country and experience tranquillity.
